On March 3rd I started my day volunteering at the Walk to Cure Juvenile Arthritis at the Mall of America and ended my day in Waseca volunteering for the Dreamcatcher Fund.
What an inspiring day it was at the Walk to Cure Juvenile Arthritis!
I was so proud to be a part of Brenna's Brigade, help fundraise before the walk, and be there to support Brenna and her big sister Miss Minnesota. Brenna's Brigade raised over $11,000 for the
Arthritis Foundation! Thank you Brenna, for being an inspiration to all, you are truly one of the strongest and kindest young ladies I have ever met.
Also, a huge thank you to all that donated!
Together we are making a difference in the lives of the 300,000 children who live with Juvenile Arthritis every day.
I am so happy I was able to volunteer and raise funds so that these children may soon live a pain-free life.
Later that day, I traveled to southern Minnesota to volunteer for Waseca's Dreamcatcher Fund!
I helped with the live auction and visited with all of the people that came to support this wonderful cause. All of the money raised (totaling over $6,000) goes towards making a child who has a life threatening condition dream come true! I can't wait to meet the child who is chosen as this year's Dreamcatcher Award recipient.
